SMR Farms Named Tropicana Grower of the Year 2011-2012
Tropicana awarded SMR Farms' citrus division its fourth consecutive Grower of the Year Award. The award is based on objective scores of fruit quality, load quality, varietal mix, and agribusiness management. SMR Farms' President Mac Carraway and Citrus Production Manager Steve John accepted the award in Punta Gorda, and acknowledged the excellent and long-term partnership between the two companies.
Other growers named this year include Bentley Brothers, Inc., Pines Ranch, Inc., and Sunny South Packing Company, Inc.

The FNGLA Landscape Show Is In The Books
The FNGLA Landscape Show is now in the books. The always awesome Landscape Show presented by FNGLA and held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando demonstrated again that it is the premier nursery and landscape industry show in the Southeast.
