The Great Southern Tree Conference Is In The Books
The Annual Great Southern Tree Conference (GSTC) wrapped up today in Gainesville, Florida -- and once again, SMR Farms was proud to be a Champion sponsor. The GSTC continues to be a cutting edge educational event featuring great speakers and an outdoor demonstration area -- it was a really great show. Developed through the joint efforts of the Florida Nursery, Growers & Landscape Association and the University of Florida, this conference is devoted entirely to tree selection, landscape, production, establishment, marketing and management issues in the southern United States. Thanks to all those who attended and especially those who organized the event. See you next year!

FTGA Turf Seminar Information and Registration
The Florida Turfgrass Association is once again hosting its nine world-famous Regional Turf Seminars throughout the state of Florida in January and February 2012. These seminars provide local educational programs on topics such as pests and diseases, weeds,
BMPs, regulatory issues, safety and pesticide usage. Attendees will receive CEUs in both core and turf and ornamental categories as well as certified Crop Advisor Credits and GCSAA PDI Points. Please click the header for details and to register for these excellent educational programs.
